Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • At least 5 years of sales/business development experience required
  • Experience working in a complex sales environment selling advisory and research-based solutions to C-suite and Executive teams
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics around sales activity and results
  • Persuasive writing skills for proposals and meeting generation with high-level Executives

What the job involves

  • The Senior Sales Executive role will be to sell the Institute's portfolio of products and services within the legal market; primarily focused on our UK, European, and Latin American markets
  • The role will involve developing relationships at key law firms with the aim of winning new business for TR
  • Our team helps clients leverage research to make better business decisions
  • Our core offerings involve: financial benchmarking tools, market research and competitive assessments, and strategic planning advisory services
  • Your ability to understand and address client needs will help our team foster long-term partnerships and drive success
  • Identify opportunities where we can offer solutions which meet clients' needs
  • Build solid relationships with both customers and colleagues
  • Influence and negotiate at senior levels of law firms, as well as building partnerships internally and externally
  • Managing your own sales pipeline and reporting upwards on progress
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned territory clients—ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their objectives and providing tailored solutions
  • Communicate regularly with clients to update them on research progress, findings, and any relevant industry trends
  • We envisage that you will undertake a combination of virtual and face-to-face client visits each week
