Who you are
- 6+ years of relevant work experience, including commercial real estate experience
- 3+ years of overseeing quota-carrying sales teams
- Ability to use WeWork data systems to produce reports of market performance preferred
- Able to pivot and adapt to business changes with ease and then have the ability able to quickly mobilize the team to do the same
- Demonstrable experience in succeeding in fast-paced, KPI driven sales environment
- Strategic thinker and problem solver with strong interpersonal skills

What the job involves
- Execute and develop strategic initiatives while driving operational excellence for lead and pipeline generation across multiple geographies
- Own the inbound sales business across USC; working closely with the Head of Leasing, Portfolio Directors, Leasing Managers and Leasing Associates to ensure pipeline accuracy and forecasting of top-line revenue
- Review data trends and sales analytics to drive strategic insights to be curated for USC
- Build and disseminate relevant reporting to key internal stakeholders to assist with forecasting, performance and operational management
- Own, measure, and elevate sales processes in regards to contact identification, lead qualification, prospecting, pipeline development, and opportunity identification through various channels
- Manage Sales Inbound Managers, who each have a team of Sales Development Representatives. These Sales Development Representatives are responsible for driving qualified leads down the sales funnel
- Partner with internal stakeholders, such as Marketing, Tech, Enablement, and Sales Operations to generate leads and drive operational efficiency
- Manage team growth and performance - responsible for monthly goal setting, weekly check-ins, mid-year and end of year reviews; map skill sets that need to be developed to optimize performance and/or support career development
- Recruit, cultivate, and retain top talent, including when business needs evolve
Our take
WeWork is a commercial real estate company that pioneered the shared workspace market, providing spaces for anyone from freelancers to Fortune 500s. Traditional leases typically require businesses to commit to an office for 5-10 years, whilst WeWork allows its members to scale up from a single hot desk to a private office or custom-built suite, depending on their needs.
WeWork has hundreds of locations across the globe, with hundreds of thousands of members. While its initial rapid growth and dominance in key global hubs was impressive, it has since had to scale back and strategically re-align itself in an unstable economic climate.
There is certainly still potential for WeWork to see renewed growth and success, especially as remote and hybrid working continues to be popular. That said, observers will have to wait to see the eventual affect of its restructuring - and only time will tell what the company's future looks like.
