Who you are
- 1-2 years of experience as a Compliance Analyst or in a similar role
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments while consistently meeting deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex, technical, and critical matters clearly
- Proven track record of effective collaboration and coordination with team members
- Comfortable working with data and numerical analysis
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Paralegal certification is a plus
- Relevant experience in regulatory compliance is advantageous, but not necessary
What the job involves
- REPORTS TO: Senior Counsel
- We are currently seeking a highly organized, driven, and detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our expanding and dynamic Legal & Compliance team
- This role will involve conducting comprehensive compliance assessments and reviews, as well as managing various licensing responsibilities to ensure regulatory adherence and support organizational objectives
- Supporting the Legal & Compliance team in the design, implementation, and execution of various compliance assessments and reviews related to our products
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to efficiently gather and organize documents and information requested by regulatory agencies for licensing reviews and annual reporting
- Managing the preparation and submission of license applications, as well as overseeing the timely renewal of existing licenses
- Assisting in the management of complaints and litigation-related matters
- Performing additional duties as assigned

Payback has 3, 6, and 9 month flexible options and the platform covers purchases of up to $10,000.
The company is looking to grow after an impressive financial investment that reflects consumers turning to new payment options, such as BNPL. The funding is supporting its point-of-sale loan offerings and its Sunbit card, and will also be invested into scaling its distribution network.
