Who you are
- You are a bachelor student in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar
- You live in or in the area of Amsterdam
- You are eager to learn
- You are available on average 16 hours per week
- You are willing to work from the office at least once a week
- Minimum availability of 12 months
- You have a great sense of responsibility and take ownership of your work
- You are proactive, curious, socially competent and not afraid to speak up
- You are able to communicate well in English
What the job involves
- We are seeking a motivated working student to join our Finance team in Amsterdam
- Our team is customer-focused, operates in a fast-paced environment, and consists of highly driven professionals
- In this role, you will also collaborate with other teams across the company
- The Finance Team is led by our CFO and includes Manager Business Control, Business Controller, and Junior Controller, supported by a team of work students, who focus on billing and other finance-related tasks
- The team continuously seeks opportunities to improve its systems and methods, develop innovative ways to monitor and track data, and increase transparency
- You will actively support the Finance team in answering questions from members, preparing invoices, credit notes and perform other basic accounting and administrative tasks

Our take
The international community has set a target for net zero emissions by 2050, but to make that happen, businesses need reliable data on environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics. GRESB was founded in 2009 to provide ESG data on business assets based on self-reported data and has since become regarded as the gold standard for investment managers to assess their ESG performance.
GRESB is the only ESG framework specifically designed for real estate, and it has earned widespread adoption within the industry. The platform now covers over $8T in assets - more than double the amount reported in 2019 - solidifying its reputation as an essential tool for investment managers. This growth reflects the growing emphasis on sustainability in real estate investment and the increasing demand for transparent, reliable ESG data.

Recent moves include the acquisition of companies like Asset Resolution, which develops tools for acquiring data from hard-to-measure sectors.
