Who you are
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Expert knowledge of React, Node and NextJS

What the job involves
- Perplexity is looking for an experienced engineer to advance our frontend platform. Our small team revolutionizing the way people search and interact with the internet. You will help us build a next generation search engine with a best-in-class web experience
- Drive advancements in frontend infrastructure of the Perplexity web application
- Make architectural decisions which shape the future of the way we ship code
- Ensure a great developer experience across projects
- Help achieve best-in-class performance
- Contribute to our component library
- Establish and enforce best practices in our codebase
- Collaborate with Engineering leaders and other departments
- For our frontend work, we use React, TypeScript, NextJS, react-query, Turborepo, and TailwindCSS
