Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and 5+ years or relevant work experience
- Exceptional management, analytical, communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in project management (managing deliverables and timelines) and working independently to prioritize and manage a range of tasks
- Proven strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and articulate connections across separate, but related concepts
- Proven success working on teams that deliver sophisticated strategic plans and programs
- The ability to represent large complex problems and solutions at the right level for senior consumption and decision making
- Work closely with management to establish and maintain strategy and business review routines (Executive updates, leadership messages, quarterly business reviews)
- Self-starter with strong performance orientation and a “no surprise” approach
- Strong ability to partner and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and shifting priorities, and comfortable with complexity and ambiguity
What the job involves
- As part of the Strategy & Planning COE within Fidelity Technology Strategy & Planning, we are looking for a Senior Manager of Technology Strategy & Planning who will demonstrate strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to support the strategic planning and oversight processes for Fidelity Technology Strategy & Planning
- This role will require significant daily prioritization and the ability to drive multiple efforts simultaneously. It is highly analytical and requires delivery of results as both an individual contributor and through influence in a highly matrixed, fast-paced organization
- Formulate, document, and communicate strategy for Fidelity Technology
- Work across the organization to understand strategic plans and projects related to technology, and ensure alignment and consistency with Fidelity Technology strategy
- Drive and maintain the integrity of and adherence to routines, structure, and coordination to ensure execution of our strategy in alignment with the broader Fidelity Technology vision
- Support business units and stakeholders across the organization in understanding strategic priorities and communicate technology plans
- Review data and insights to support the development and ongoing assessment of new, existing, and changes in Enterprise Technology requirements and the impact on our overall Fidelity Technology Strategy
- Support strategy review and adjustment in annual and quarterly planning cycles with technology leaders and Strategy & Planning teams
- Research strategy practices and approaches to make clear and concise recommendations on strategy and planning process improvement
- Create templates and presentations to support documenting and communicating Fidelity Technology strategy
