What the job involves
- The Core Operations Senior Associate (contract position) supports the delivery of Core- Chief’s cornerstone service- to members and ensures a best-in-class experience nationwide
- Modeled after YPO Forums, Core is a service for members to meet with a group of 10-12 peers to work through their deepest challenges and build a personal board of advisors
- Collects, analyzes and actions on member feedback regarding their Core experience
- Monitors the health and group size of Core Groups and makes recommendations regarding proactive outreach
- Moderates and responds to internal Chief support channels
- Works cross-functionally with the Guide Operations and Member Experience teams to ensure proper execution of Core Operations for both Chief Members and Guides
- Is comfortable owning and reporting on data associated with functional area and/or processes; is comfortable with pulling and analyzing large amounts of data (Sheets, Salesforce Reports)
- Can synthesize information and provide potential solutions clearly for leadership across different mediums (Slides, Sheets, Email, Slack, Verbal, Presenting etc.)

C-Suite, senior executives, and accomplished VPs are evaluated for membership based on seniority, professional experience, background, and impact, as well as a demonstrated history of supporting others along the way.
As of the start of 2023, 53 of the Fortune 500 companies had female CEOs - the first time ever that women have represented over 10% of this group. Women are also drastically underrepresented when it comes to leading funded startups, which is where the need for a community like Chief's comes from.
Chief's has over 20,000 members from organizations including the likes of Google, Nike, HBO, Pfizer, and Disney. It achieved unicorn status in 2021 and continues to make impressive moves such as the launch of "Chief Enterprise" for businesses looking to invest in their women leaders. That said, it has also seen its fair share of controversy over alleged discriminatory actions towards minority members, which it will need to properly address is it is to continue claiming a DEI-first mission.
