8-10 years of experience in digital media sales
Minimum 3 years of sales management experience

What the job involves

We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager to lead our Los Angeles Mid-Market Goods team
This team is focused on growing Goods advertisers across verticals such as CPG, Retail and Pharma
We are looking for a strategic leader who will lead and grow this part of the business at scale
The person in this role is required to be based in the Los Angeles, CA area and should be available to work from the LA office 1-2x per week
Manage a high-performing team of Client Partners and Account Managers by recruiting and retaining top talent, while managing resources effectively
Drive your team to exceed established revenue targets
Grow revenue by expanding relationships with existing advertisers and acquiring new clients to drive business growth
Advise sales and product management regarding market opportunities, sales positioning, use of resources, and strategic planning
Partner with Marketing to drive new product launches, marketing communications, and further establish Reddit as a leader amongst challenger brands
Partner with Sales Ops and Finance to develop financial and operating targets, ensuring alignment with the strategic plan

There are more than 100,000 communities on Reddit, covering everything, from food, entertainment, sports, and books, to more niche topics that cater for very specific audiences.

While these are impressive numbers, they do pale in comparison with social media giants Facebook and Twitter, however, Reddit distinguishes itself by providing easy-to-find communities for a truly endless range of topics.

Reddit makes money through advertising as well as offering a premium ad-free membership plan. The company has enjoyed continuous user & revenue growth, acquisitions by Conde Nast in 2006 and Advance in 2011, and plans to launch an IPO bid in 2024.
