Role
Who you are
- Project implementation or management experience with proven ability to meet deliverables

Desirable
- Experience with a major systems integrator or enterprise software implementation experience with change management processes
- Experience in the semiconductor industry (eg. understanding the front-end manufacturing process)
- Experience working in a professional services organisation
- Commercial experience with a programming language
What the job involves
- You will thrive in this varied and challenging role as you will be leading customer projects and teams, ranging from pre-sales proof of concepts through to site-wide rollouts of our product line
- Making sense of live, messy semiconductor data to discover things we never knew about our customers
- Becoming an expert in a few chosen customers. You'll know their requirements inside-out and be our go-to specialist within the company
- Engaging with early stage pre-sales projects. You'll meet new prospective clients before anyone else and help shape our company's future towards their needs from the very first call
- Being a dedicated point of contact for your customers and their "voice" to the rest of our company; making sure our product works for their needs. You'll also practise "customer evangelism" by teaching others internally about them and what makes them tick. Bonus points if you can do that using Slack emojis
- Speaking to customers regularly and being curious about their needs. You'll empathise with the root of their problems without jumping to early conclusions
- Understanding all the knobs and dials on our software. You'll be demo'ing brand new features and troubleshooting customer issues by staying up-to-date on the inner workings of our app
- Attending the odd conference and networking event to meet other practitioners in the industry and learn more about the market
- There's not many semiconductor fabs in central London so hopefully you don't mind a plane trip to Europe or the US. Travel will be a key part of the role, so we practice fly-home-Fridays. Trips will happen about once per month and the vast majority of the time you'll be back in London by Thursday night, and only be gone a few days of the week
- In your first 3-6 / 12 months:
- Become an expert in our product, how it's used, and how it works
- Take over the leadership of one or more customer projects possibly including a small customer team
- Travel to the site of one or more of these customers to gather requirements
- Analyse data from the client sites for the purpose of understanding product requirements and user stories

Our take
Industrial production hasn't seen that many breakthrough innovations in the past decades (after centuries of innovation). Multi-step production lines are particularly complex, where in the past, humans have been required to do a lot of the thinking to piece together the steps. Flexciton has built the AI to learn from a factory’s data and understand how the factory works to rapidly speed up this process.
The difference between an OK-planned factory and an optimally-planned factory is huge. Flexciton's advanced software now has the data to suggest the optimal options when planning a production line, scheduling work through its own equipment. Through this, the company provides the fastest solutions for manufacturing problems at an accuracy above other solution providers.
Flexciton plans to use recent investment to hire more talent in order to have the capacity to service a higher customer base. The company is also looking to invest development into related areas, such as sectors in aerospace or chemicals.
