Role
Who you are
- 5+ years in a closing role selling enterprise SaaS solutions at high growth tech companies
- 2+ years experience selling a complex revenue driving product in the fintech space
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas, while navigating complex and lengthy deal cycles
- Experience closing deals with C-level decision makers
- Comfort working in a hyper-growth, rapidly changing environment while able to concurrently manage multiple accounts and smoothly close deals
- Proven ability and to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
- Excellent executive level verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Experience in defining processes and ability to make autonomous decisions
- Previous experience joining an company as an early sales hire a huge plus
- Previous experiencing selling Enterprise SaaS solutions into insurance carriers a huge plus
- The ideal candidate will be a scrappy, start-up veteran who has sold complex products or platforms, ideally within the fintech space
- This AE will come in with experience selling innovative B2B2C products or closing partnership deals that create enablement and additional distribution at the enterprise scale
- Of course, all passion for driving revenue, doing what it takes to get things done, and a proven track record of closing new business are necessary qualities to success in this role
What the job involves
- We are seeking a tenacious, enthusiastic, and experienced Enterprise Account Executive to help grow our Enterprise business
- You will play a pivotal role in moving the company forward and helping us accomplish our ambitious goals by winning new Enterprise logos
- As an integral part of our growing team, you will be a primary face of an industry leading company in one of the fastest growing spaces, Insurtech
- Work closely with sales leadership to define and execute on quarterly sales goals
- Consistently meet sales quotas and drive the sales process forward for the business
- Develop and own strong relationships with C-Level executives and decision makers at target companies
- Maintain an understanding of the competitive market space and how to effectively position our product offerings
- Oversee the entire sales cycle while collaborating closely with cross functional teams including Project Management, Insurance, Product, Marketing, and Legal
- Forecast sales activity and revenue achievements accurately through proper use of sales tools
Our take
Sure is a software-as-a-service provider that powers API-based digital insurance programs for enterprises and brands. Rather than underwriting the insurance themselves, Sure acts as a platform that enables brands to sell their own insurance packages, which are actually underwritten by legacy insurers like Nationwide, Chubb and MetLife.
Not long ago, the company partnered with Zibo to streamline the renters' insurance process for tenants, a smart move in a world that used to be exclusively in person and is transitioning to digital. There are great benefits to having insurance and rent management under one online roof, for landlords and tenants alike. It has since teamed up with PorchPals for embedded package insurance and was recognised as one of the fastest-growing tech companies in North America.
The recent arrival of competitor Boost - founded by Sure's Series A venture capital backer - hasn’t deterred the company at all. In fact, Sure claims to be profitable and boasts an impressive range of clients – like Tesla, Intuit, and Mastercard.
