Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
- 2 years of marketing experience, preferably with a B2B software company
- Experience in data management, data analytics, or industrial software a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong project management skills: PMMs are expected to build comprehensive GTM plans, identify gaps, develop content, and deliver on schedule
- Dual-minded approach with ability to be process-driven and data oriented, but also able to solve problems creatively and think out-of-the-box
What the job involves
- This role reports to the Director of Information Management Marketing
- Be the expert on buyer personas and needs in the assigned market segment. Understand the buyer's journey
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of current and emerging use cases, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of competitive solutions
- Work collaboratively with strategic and technical product managers to articulate the value of product features in accordance with buyer needs
- Work collaboratively with launch managers to drive GTM planning and execution for new releases on assigned product(s)
- Work collaboratively with marketing function specialists (such as web strategists, social media managers, PR managers, etc.) to plan and execute content that is compelling and accurate. Develop content as necessary and provide oversight of content developed by others to ensure technical accuracy
- Work collaboratively with sales enablement, account managers, and sales executives to identify and execute needed sales tools and events
- Work with other PMMs to build an understanding of how AVEVA solutions integrate and deliver complementary value to customers. Build a solution mindset
- Create and track marketing success metrics. Learn how to use the systems available, such as Gainsight, Salesforce.com, BI dashboards
