Who you are

Proven depth of experience in JavaScript-based web application development; corresponding experience with HTML, CSS, REST
Experience with browser extension development
Strong design skills and full software development lifecycle experience
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while quickly understanding both new and existing code
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a globally-distributed team
Passion for writing quality code and constantly honing your development skills
Ability to look at the big picture, come up with great new ideas and execute those ideas by writing code to make it happen
Experience with large codebases and unit testing -- mock frameworks, automation testing, database testing, etc
Familiarity with web-based security principles and best practices

Desirable

Experience with Angular or Typescript
Experience with C#, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET Core
Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure DevOps pipelines
Experience with YAML

What the job involves

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
Full-stack design and develop features for cross-browser web extension, including HTML/CSS/JS UI and REST-based communication with back-end microservices
Manage daily progress of team through sprints, resolving any questions and blocking issues
Assist with planning of sprint goals and release milestone features
Using Scrum processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, UX, Dev) to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and contribute to architectural decisions
Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable code
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to our core technologies
