Who you are
- Your leadership and expertise will play a critical role in delivering high-quality products that meet our users’ needs and drive business growth
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience (10+ years) in product development and management, focusing on leading and managing high-performing teams
- Strong understanding of agile methodology and demonstrated success in delivering software products within established timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and effectively collaborate with stakeholders
- Strategic mindset with a track record of driving product innovation and business growth
- Experience in the software industry, preferably in B2B or enterprise software
What the job involves
- We’re searching for a visionary Vice President of Product Management to lead our innovative software product management team
- As the VP of Product Management, you will oversee the entire software product development lifecycle, drive technical excellence, and shape our product strategy
- Provide strategic direction and vision for software product development in alignment with Brightwell’s overall goals and objectives
- Develop and communicate a clear product roadmap and ensure its successful execution
- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, from ideation to release, ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders, software engineering, and design to define product requirements, prioritize features, and drive product development efforts
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to understand the business objectives and translate these into actionable product development plans
- Communicate product challenges, progress, and successes to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and transparency
- Establish and maintain effective processes and best practices for efficient product development, ensuring scalability and sustainability
- Stay in tune with emerging technologies and industry trends and ensure their incorporation into the Brightwell process
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within the product team
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment encouraging personal and professional career growth

Brightwell's biggest challenge will be outcompeting the multitude of similar cross-border payment solutions, such as CardFlex. In 2023, it is re-engineering its cross-border payment funnel through partnerships with Visa, adding fresh draws to its platform for companies.
