Who you are

Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience developing automation using Selenium and SQL to ensure high quality and overall test coverage for applications
Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience developing and directing software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation for test automation frameworks and best QA practices

What the job involves

Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Development Engineer in Test II in Los Angeles, CA to collaborate with other Quality Assurance professionals and Software Developers to ensure high-quality web applications and content delivery platforms
Designing, developing and modifying software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design
Performing functional testing of customer relationship management applications and platforms; monitoring key metrics to measure application quality and performance
Identifying and resolving defects of new features
Performing API testing using Postman and SOAP UI
Triaging production issues by querying databases using SQL queries and debugging through UI
Creating and debugging automated UI and API tests using Selenium Web Driver; and in executing duties, utilizing JIRA and Jmeter
Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies
