Who you are
- You have strong interest in pursuing a career in Product

- You understand that automated output still needs to look good for customer-facing documentation
- 1-3 years in a technical role (ie. Solution architect, data analysis, or automation engineering)
- Proven experience or a strong portfolio of building workflows and automating manual processes
- Hands-on experience using LLMs (like GPT or Claude) and low-code or no-code tools to solve business problems
- A clear understanding of how to connect platforms (e.g., using APIs or scripts) to move data between tools like Jira, Zendesk, and Confluence
- The ability to walk through a complex system design or workflow and map out every step clearly on a board
What the job involves
- As the Product Operations Lead, your mission is to be our product automation architect, turning manual, time-consuming administrative tasks into seamless, intelligent workflows
- You will focus on the distribution of information rather than the content of a roadmap, bridging the gap between systems like Jira, Zendesk, and Confluence. Whether it’s automating the flow of a meeting transcript into a Jira ticket or ensuring release notes are distributed beautifully and automatically to the right clients, your goal is to remove the admin heavy lift
- We want a lead who is motivated to automate themselves out of these administrative tasks; as you successfully streamline these operations, your role will naturally evolve, allowing you to dedicate increasing time and focus to core Product Management and strategy

Our take
Castor’s cloud-based clinical data management platform allows clinical trials to be carried out faster and in a more decentralised and patient-focused manner. Some of the biggest roadblocks to successful clinical trials are the length of time they can take, a lack of diversity in participants, and a simple shortage of trial subjects. Castor’s tech allows researchers to overcome these obstacles by more easily capturing and integrating data.
Castor, along with other med tech startups like Thread and Florence garnered praise during 2020 as a lot of medical research transitioned to virtual. In a clinical trials market that’s worth over $40 billion worldwide and still growing, the fact that Castor counts the WHO in its customer base is encouraging.
Backed by Eight Roads Ventures and F-Prime Capital, Castor is aiming to use its funding round to continue product development, data gathering, and increase its manpower, with a view to expanding operations beyond the US and into Asia.
