Who you are
- Demonstrable experience in an in-house talent role, with experience sourcing, engaging and attracting candidates in multiple disciplines, at all levels of seniority and experience
- Experience using various interview formats with confidence to assess skill & ability, as well as attitude, behaviours and personal values
- Understanding of D&I recruitment and commitment to removing unconscious bias in hiring processes
- Experience of tracking and reporting recruitment data
- Experience of supporting hiring managers to make effective progress through various interview stages
- You have had to make decisions about talent strategy or have built out new processes to improve on an existing strategy
What the job involves
- 1) Talent Acquisition Strategy (80%)
- Execute the hiring plan!
- Partner with hiring managers to drive an efficient hiring process + select great candidates
- Ensure that inclusive approaches and diverse representation is at the core of all recruitment and assessment activity
- Excite candidates about Cuckoo’s future, articulating to them our mission and what makes us a great place to work
- Take charge of our end-to-end recruitment process - first by designing it, and then by partnering with hiring managers to use it to bring great people into Cuckoo
- Take seriously the responsibility for enhancing Cuckoo’s team culture with each candidate who is progressed to interview
- Create an amazing candidate experience so that Cuckoo grows its reputation as a caring and considerate employer
- Develop the hiring skills of our eager hiring managers
- Track all relevant recruitment data, providing the business with regular updates on performance
- 2) Talent Projects (20%)
- Play a pivotal role in helping the People function to be built and to grow
- Help us deliver on questions such as:
- How can we embed our values within the recruitment process and beyond?
- How can we grow our reputation as a great place to work?
- What steps should we take so that our onboarding process really sets new people up for success?
