Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field
- Previous proven experience in Cyber Security, with a focus on financial services
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
- Hands-on experience with security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
- Industry certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, are a plus
What the job involves
- Implement and maintain security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and anti-virus software
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security threats and weaknesses in our systems
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and systems
- Stay up to date with emerging security threats and industry trends and provide recommendations for improving our security posture
- Collaborate with other IT team members and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize security initiatives and projects
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, including conducting investigations and providing remediation recommendations
- Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices and policies
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations, such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and HIPAA
