Who you are
- An understanding of functional or object-oriented programming
- Ability to learn quickly
- A desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Effective communication, including the ability to translate and explain technical issues to non-technical team members
- Must be Graduating from College within a month, and able to work full-time hours!
- Object oriented or functional programming languages (we use Kotlin)
- Mobile Development (Android)
- Modern App Architecture (MVVM/MVC)
- Version control system (Git)

- Full-stack development (Kotlin, Javascript, React, Swift)
- Both Android and iOS experience
- Personal app release
- Test writing and quality assurance
- Comfortable working Full Time after the Internship is completed!

What the job involves
- We’re looking for an Android, Mobile Engineer Apprentice to contribute immediately and hopefully transition to full-time positions upon completion of the 3 month internship
- You will build highly performant mobile applications to integrate seamlessly with our backend services
- You’ll also be working on a small, multi-functional team that may include other engineers, a designer, product manager, data scientist and other roles
- Success in this role requires the ability to take on challenging problems and design & develop an amazing solution with the mentorship of an experienced team member

Whilst Fetch faces competition from similar receipt-scan rewards platforms like ReceiptPal and Ibotta, it grew into a profitable company in late 2023. And its using its most recent Morgan Stanley-backed funding to aggressively add brand partners at a competitive pace and onboard staff at a level that promises strong continued growth.
