Who you are
- Proven track record of successfully growing B2B SaaS brands and driving revenue growth through data-driven marketing strategies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights to optimise marketing efforts
- Experience with various marketing channels, including digital advertising, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and events
- Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) to develop and execute effective campaigns
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative marketing approaches
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and present ideas to stakeholders
- Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and best practices
- Previous experience in the HR/People space is a plus

What the job involves
- As the Growth Marketer at Ravio, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our B2B SaaS brand, with a focus on conversion through the best-performing channels for our target audience, largely in the People/HR space
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Partnerships, Product, Product Marketing, and Customer Success, to develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns that engage our target audience and drive revenue growth
- Performance will be measured based on three factors:
- Generation of demand measured through Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
- Optimisation of the channels that generate revenue
- Ownership of the most important channels that drive website traffic
- In terms of mindset, you should be familiar with what success looks like and have played a significant role in driving growth at least once in the past. You will be responsible for building from scratch, experimenting, and establishing Ravio's growth function as an industry leader
- Lead the distribution of Ravio’s content in the most resonant go-to-market channels, such as blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and webinars, to educate and engage prospects
- Manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to drive collaborative marketing initiatives and leverage their expertise
- Execute high-converting marketing strategies based on performance, and scale the most impactful go-to-market channels, such as Ravio’s partner ecosystem, or physical community-building events in key markets
- Partner with Product Marketing to leverage marketing automation tools and platforms to develop personalised customer journeys and nurture leads throughout the sales funnel
- Continuously analyse and optimise go-to-market channels based on customer engagement data, industry trends, and market insights to maximise ROI and drive qualified leads aligned to Ravio’s ideal customer profile
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), customer acquisition cost (CAC), and customer lifetime value (CLTV), to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions
- Identify opportunities to scale Ravio’s commercial business – from acquiring new customers to retaining existing ones — and identify threats and opportunity gaps to be addressed
- Oversee paid search activities as channels for testing variations of positioning and messaging — in partnership with Product Marketing
- Optimise SEO, digital marketing, social media, email marketing areas — in partnership with Content Marketing
- Launch or enhance referral marketing programs

Our take
The war for talent is raging, creating a fertile market for existing recruitment tech companies, and a birthing ground for new ones. Ravio is one of the latter, and recently launched its compensation benchmarking platform aimed to help companies keep their offer attractive relative to competitors, filtered according to aspects like location, industry, business growth rate, and funding.
There’s far more to keep track of now, too - with the great resignation, and a persisting shortfall of tech talent, both the employment markets and compensation expectations are changing fast. Scaleups are bearing the brunt of managing these rapid fluctuations - so appetite for products such as Ravio is likely to be high.
Ravio also allows companies to dig through more granular compensation inequalities related to, for example, an applicant’s background or race. It claims to offer the most detailed diversity insights - and if this is the case, it could help slingshot Ravio to the top of the recruitment tech pile. DEI initiatives are becoming more of a business imperative now, and being able to prove evidence-based practices from the ground up would be a boon for some.
