Who you are
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent professional experience
- 3-5 years of sales experience, ideally in the SaaS or software, working with digital marketing agencies or bigger brands a plus
- Strong communication and writing skills; this includes being warm, polished and confident on the phone, good listening skills, giving and receiving feedback, public speaking skills, presentation skills and non-verbal communications
- Knowledgeable about technology and SaaS business model
- Works cooperatively with others to be a part of a team. Includes conflict management, relationship-building and social skills that foster positive and collaborative work environments
- The ability to manage time and resources to effectively prioritize and complete tasks
- The ability and willingness to find out what the customer wants and needs and to act accordingly, taking the organization’s costs and benefits into account
- The ability to process detailed information effectively and consistently
- Involves the ability to effectively adapt to a variety of situations, individuals or groups. The ability to understand and appreciate different and opposing perspectives on an issue, to adapt an approach as the requirements of a situation change, and to change or easily accept changes in one’s own organizational or job requirements
What the job involves
- In this role you will be part of the Sales & Activation Team and report directly to the Director, Sales
- Create a best-in-class experience for evaluators of Unbounce by providing exceptional customer service over email, phone and our video call software
- Ensure Concierge prospects have a quick response time by overseeing and managing hand-offs from other members of the Activation Team through various inbound channels
- Qualifying our prospective customers’ needs, identify their challenges, and demonstrate how both Unbounce and Conversion Intelligence can help solve these challenges and how they can achieve their marketing goals (rather than just promoting a product)
- Understand and advise prospects on the principles of Conversion Intelligence at an advanced level
- Experiment with new ideas that contribute to optimizing our Sales strategy and amplify the impact our team has on the wider organization
- Take on projects that contribute to CS, Enablement and Activation Team initiatives
- Liaising with the Product and Marketing teams with enhancement requests and product feedback
- Use your knowledge, skills, and experience to mentor newer or less experienced employees in order to advance them in their roles; this includes taking an active role in the onboarding of new hires
- Take an active role in documenting and updating team processes; this would include tasks such as managing vacation, keeping track of ongoing team experiments, documenting updated sales processes and using the LMS
- Observe and research team knowledge gaps and collaborate with L&D and the Activation Leaders to create training materials to address them
- Provide and seek feedback proactively to help those around you develop
- You’re results-oriented and have a high focus on quality by meeting or exceeding individual quota and targets
- You feel comfortable to log, track and maintain information in our CRM tool
- You excel under pressure with an upbeat attitude and are a team player
- You feel comfortable managing the sales process from qualifying the lead to customer sign-up including providing product demonstrations
- You own your own growth through reflection, reviewing past interactions and preparing to discuss development opportunities with your Manager in regular 1:1 meetings as well as proactive use of individual professional development time and networking budget
- You take ownership in staying up to date with digital marketing trends, the competitive landscape and common industry pain points
- You are skilled in the art of research and are a pro at obtaining a detailed understanding of company profiles through meaningful business conversations and online research
- You have experience in, or are keen to work in a start-up environment
- You can augment your pipeline with outbound sales techniques and tools
- You consistently demonstrate and champion Unbounce’s core values and Leadership Attributes in day-to-day work

Landing pages are one of the most fundamental parts of a business' online presence. A standalone web page that a person "lands" on after clicking through from an email, ad, or other digital location, is often fundamental to its marketing and sales strategy.
Founded in 2009, Unbounce is best known for developing platforms that allow marketers to create landing pages without investing in their own web developers. The company touts more than 1 billion conversions since its founding, with thousands of customers worldwide including Zola, Fifty & Fifty, and the New York Times.
This success has cemented it as one of the leading players in the market, and has attracted major investor interest across multiple rounds. Though not unaffected by the economic situation at large (the company layed off a number of staff in 2022), Unbounce nonetheless seems positive in its future, and continues to expand its offering, most lately with a tool that allows marketers to generate relevant ad copy for multiple platforms by simply inserting a URL.
