Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related technical field
- 7+ years’ experience in a Product Management function or similar role, managing a team of product managers and/or product owners
- Experience managing the full life cycle development from conception to launch and overseeing all key milestones and deliverables of a products life cycle
- Strong communication, technical documentation, and analysis skills
- Experience delivering Enterprise software products
- Strong requirements elicitation, and proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences
- Previous experience in Financial Services is a big plus
- Led growth strategy of SaaS business goal and objectives
- Demonstrated knowledge of operational issues
- Customer-centric mindset with the capability of translating that into the product development process
- Successfully implemented data-driven processes to turn a vision into an actionable roadmap
- People leader with demonstrated success in leading and mentoring the research, design, and development team
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Understand the user experience and design
- Able to distill product roadmaps into digestible and relevant presentations to key customers and partners
- Drive product analytics to understand feature usage, comprehension, and optimization
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
What the job involves
- The Senior Director, Product Management for Conduct role is responsible for owning the technical and business direction for Smarsh’s Enterprise Surveillance and Supervision application, which enables compliance and audit teams to effectively meet global regulatory requirements
- Work closely and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive product initiatives. Lead and grow a team of SME product owners, managers, developers and/or designer to complete the roadmap and strategic vision
- Lead, manage and mentor a team of product professionals
- Product planning and assignment of tasks and deliverables
- Product lifecycle management from concept to launch of your product
- Lead, define, represent, and communicate the strategic initiatives of your product
- Assess product development sprints and enhancement opportunities
- Monitor product development sprints and evaluate results
- Own the execution of the product roadmap and communicate with C-level staff, customers, and other stakeholders
- Monitor and manage strategic plans
- Define pricing and competitive positioning for your product
- Drive innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action
- Build incredible teams and processes to deliver a product that satisfies the needs of customers
