Role
Who you are
- You are a WO Dutch law student in the third year of your Bachelor's or a Master's student
- You have excellent written, oral, and communication skills in Dutch and English
- You are fascinated by technology and passionate about legal questions
- You are located in the Netherlands and able to work from our Amsterdam office for 2 days a week
- Knowledge of privacy law and/or IT law is a plus
- You have an interest in technology and want to experience what working at a fast-growing scale-up is like
- You like to work on a variety of projects with different people and take real ownership
- You’re a quick learner, proactive, and know how to organize your work in a structured way in order to get things done
- You are an excellent communicator
- You’re proficient in Dutch and English (both spoken and written)
- You are eager to learn, open-minded, and not afraid to ask questions to colleagues
What the job involves
- Help in the negotiation phase with customers on new contracts
- Help in contracting new suppliers
- Perform legal and factual research on different legal matters
- Repair written reports and correspondence
- Support in developing the database maintained by Legal
- Organize and track case files, including communication and documentation related to them
- Review, monitor and analyze new and updated laws and regulations
- And most of all, learn about the daily operations of being a legal counsel within a tech company!

Organisations are increasingly utilising instant messaging applications for external and internal communication, as they are a faster and cheaper mode of communication. With this, it becomes increasingly important to secure the messaging infrastructure as these communication environments are less secure.
Zivver offers a secure communications platform for organisations, especially those in regulated industries such as government, law and healthcare, to enable secure communication, namely through email data protection and secure file transfer. Cloud-based secure messaging products and solutions that offer this security is a market expected to grow rapidly - and indeed, Zivver has been recognised as one of the fastest-growing technology companies according to Deloitte.
Similar companies offering solutions for organisation communications include Realtyme and Netsfere. Zivver plans to continue adding other useful features to their product such as digital signatures, secure forms and secure video. It will invest its capital, backed by DN Capital and SmartFin, to continue market expansion in the UK as well as other international markets.
