Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field required
- 7+ years and track record of experience selling complex and non-standard SaaS contracts into health systems, managing a defined territory
- Ability to travel up to 60%
- Contracting and negotiations experience required
- Strong rolodex of c-suite relationships within the healthcare market and the ability to leverage those relationships for new partnerships with Butterfly
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, customer service, relationships management, time management and team building skills
- Expert in administrative technology: Salesforce CRM, G Suite, Slack, Asana and other technology tools
- Advanced presentation skills
Desirable
- Formal sales training completed: Miller Heiman, Targeted Account Selling or Sandler
- Intellectually curious, strategic, and thrive on diving into complex problems. Be able to develop and articulate clear fact-driven recommendations
- Experience exceeding sales targets with a proven ability to generate in excess of $10 million in revenue sales annually
What the job involves
- This leader will be tasked with selling Butterfly Enterprise Software Solutions (Compass) to clients, from hospital or health system c-suite executives to clinicians, and demonstrate how our solutions will address the clients/ health system needs
- Ability to get in front of the health system “C-suite” and drive strategic conversations and presentations around large enterprise partnerships which may contemplate complexing contracting mechanisms that are non standard
- Create a strategic sales plan, build pipeline, identify new sales opportunities within a territory, and close business to obtain a defined quota
- Manage a continuous forecast through Salesforce.com using Butterfly defined process and procedures for tracking opportunities, activities and tasks
- Analytical skills and a background in working with finance on creative pricing models required for driving large strategic partnerships
- Vast knowledge and experience across the healthcare landscape, including: value-based care delivery, fee-for-service, technology integrations, healthcare revenue cycle, physician work-flow and payer models (including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid & Commercial)
- Be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, agile and fast paced environment
- Perform a broad variety of tasks in support of the role and responsibilities
- We are hiring for two roles, one based in the Eastern Region and one in the Central Region
Our take
Ultrasound machines are invaluable tools for clinicians, but these setups remain inaccessible to many. This is due to existing machines relying on quartz-powered transducers and other specialized components, resulting in a very large size and an expensive price tag.
Butterfly Network builds innovative, inexpensive, and compact ultrasound technology in order to increase access to clinics across the U.S. The device is around the same size as an electric razor, a design made possible by storing the ultrasound technology on a chip as opposed to a semi-conductor.
Whilst the company has not innovated the ultrasound process itself, Butterfly Network has found a unique gap in the market by providing inexpensive and easy-to-use access to the many clinics that could benefit from having an ultrasound machine. The device is available for under $2,000, but software designed for easy access and interpretation of ultrasound imagery comes at an additional monthly cost.
The company has also launched its very own AI marketplace called ''Butterfly Garden'' where medical device companies, virtual care companies, and AI developers can access Butterfly's software development kit. This will enable them to build new applications that reach Butterfly's prominent installed base.
