Who you are
- Varying levels of seniority and experience, but minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience, such as biz/product/sales operations at a fast-paced, high performance tech company
- Deep experience in data analysis (SQL and excel strongly preferred). Basic open-resource SQL assessment will be part of the interview process
- Strong technical mindset to spec and deliver on product/process improvements
- Excellent at breaking down problems into smaller pieces to roadmap for engineering and other teams
- Systems thinking: you understand how various components interact to produce a desired outcome
- Extreme Ownership: you care about the details and hold yourself to the highest standard of work product
- Comfortable with ambiguity, context-switching, and a fast-paced environment
- A desire to create a category-defining business
What the job involves
- Our team is looking for an Operations Associate who will play an integral part in our Business Operations team
- You will work across the whole organization (Product, Eng, Operations, Sales, Account Management) to define critical business processes
- You will have end-to-end ownership - ensuring efficient execution and driving business metrics
- This is an incredibly high-visibility, high-impact, high-autonomy role that will quickly expand to cover more and more emergent business problem areas
- Breakdown hairy, challenging business problems
- Own execution and outcomes
- Drive operational metrics (process throughput, defect rate, etc.)
- Understand the business in-and-out to be proactive about solving emerging problems

Today, healthcare providers are tackling the growing challenge of too much paperwork and too little time for patients. Many existing electronic health record (EHR) systems only add to the problem - digital, yes, but often too clunky, time-consuming, and disconnected from the tools doctors actually need. Athelas offers a full suite of tools that combine AI-powered automation, remote patient monitoring (RPM), and integrated EHR and billing systems. By embedding revenue cycle management (RCM) and ambient AI documentation directly into the platform, Athelas AIR strreamlines everything from charting to billing. And the goal is simple, to reduce administrative burden, improve margins, and ultimately, give healthcare teams a smoother, smarter way to work.
The company has made some impressive strides lately too. After achieving unicorn status in 2022 and merging with healthcare software leader Commurein 2023, Athelas is now valued at around $6B. It has also partnered with organizations like Resilient HEalthcare to power at-home care programs, bringing hospital-level technology into patients homes. And with over 100 clients lined up to adopt Athelas AIR, the company is very much positioning itself as a leader in intelligent healthcare infrastructure.
