Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering BI solutions, strong leadership capabilities, and familiarity with AI-driven analytics
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related fields
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in building and managing BI teams
- Expertise in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and DataMart design
- Familiarity with AI/ML solutions and their application in BI
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related discipline
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Desirable
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
- Strong understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks
What the job involves
- IQVIA is seeking an experienced Director, BI, Data Services, Reporting and Analytics to spearhead the development of a high-performing BI team
- This role will focus on building and managing a team of data experts to design and implement DataMarts that integrate both structured and unstructured data sources
- Build, mentor, and lead a team of BI professionals and data engineers
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Define and execute the BI roadmap aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable DataMarts and data models
- Ensure data governance, quality, and security standards are met
- Drive integration of structured and unstructured data sources into BI solutions
- Leverage advanced analytics and AI tools to enhance insights and decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable dashboards and reports
- Partner with business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into BI solutions
- Communicate complex data insights in a clear, business-friendly manner

Formed from a merger between IMS Health and Quintiles, it has over 40 years of experience in the sector, growing to become one of the world’s largest contract research organisations, with a network spanning more than 100 countries.
