Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred. CPA a plus
- 6+ years of accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (sumifs, v/xlookup, pivot tables, sumproduct, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills, particularly experienced in working with large volumes of data to create meaningful and efficient workpapers
- ERP experience, preferably Microsoft Finance & Operations (Dynamics 365)
- You have a strong work ethic, “roll up your sleeves” manner and are results-oriented
- You are a team player and invested in the learning and development of our team
- You have strong attention to detail/accuracy for data entry
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills
- You have strong mathematical and analytical skills
- You can prioritize and be flexible as priorities shift, while working efficiently to meet deadlines

What the job involves
- The Finance team is deeply ingrained in all functional areas of the business and partners heavily with leaders across the company
- We are building a best-in-class team of financial professionals and tools to support accounting controllership as well as planning and analysis and drive solutions that improve the overall operation of the Company
- We pride ourselves on an open and collaborative working environment, where we support and learn from each other
- Own the fixed asset accounting process, including managing the fixed asset subledger and preparing the related journal entries (asset transfers, depreciation, etc.)
- Research and reconcile multi-dimensional journal entries that affect fixed assets, including proper company code, GL account, department, location, and project cost coding with appropriate supporting documentation
- Lead role in implementing the fixed asset module within the ERP (currently, the subledger is in excel)
- Partner with the real estate team to oversee lease tracking and modify schedules as needed
- Review monthly lease payments to ensure timely processing of rent payments
- Prepare monthly reconciliations and related journals for occupancy and related expenditures
- Maintain the Company's accounting policies relating to fixed assets and lease accounting
- Prepare financial statement disclosures relating to fixed assets and leases and assist with related audit requests
- Participate in special projects, optimization initiatives, ERP enhancements, internal controls, and ad hoc analyses

Our take
Food delivered to your door often gets cold and soggy as it travels in a courier's bag from restaurant to home. Using Wonder, customers order food from a mobile app, which is cooked in a truck right outside your door. Their aim is to improve the standard of home-delivered food, both the quality of product – working with world renowned chefs – and the experience itself.
Wonder has received fair criticism surrounding poor environmental consideration, as each kitchen/van sits idle with the engine running whilst food is prepared. A study by the US Department of Energy found that banning the unnecessary idling of personal vehicles would be the same as taking 5 million vehicles off the roads.
In spite of this, Wonder has sustainability strategies involving food sourcing, reducing food waste, sustainable packaging, and, notably, an emissions-neutral fleet. Wonder has received enormous funding bringing it to a valuation of $3.5 billion, and the number of vans distributed across North America is expected to multiply exponentially.
