What the job involves
- We are seeking a motivated and target-oriented Sales Development Representative to drive growth and engagement within our community
- Identify and reach out to potential customers through various channels
- Engage prospects, introduce them to balthasart's offerings, and qualify leads
- Understand customer needs and pain points to tailor our solutions effectively
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions using our CRM system
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets
Our take
Parisian Singulart aims to be the one-stop shop for people who are ready to invest in some upscale home decor. A large part of its pitch is built on its support for artists, with all the art and furniture listed on its site being the work of independent creators rather than mass-produced.
This means that every piece is unique, allowing the marketplace to stand out from many of its peers. Interestingly, it also boasts that half its artists are women, which is a rarity in the art world. It has partnerships with some more well-known artists, as well as operating a sister site - balthasart - for emerging creators.
Singulart has built a sizeable user base, and it's gallery lists the work of thousands of artists and designers from over 100 countries. It has more recently implemented an AI search feature which allows users to find art by using natural language, and moves like this will cement its strong position in the art sales space.
