Who you are
- 10+ years of experience in API development using Python and API frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, Django, etc
- 5+ years of experience in search technologies
- Design and implement advanced indexing and ranking techniques to optimize search performance and relevance
- Utilize frontend frameworks to support PoC execution and ensure design system pull-through, delivering high-quality user interfaces
- Work closely with Data teams to manage large volumes of data processing, optimizing data workflows and ensuring efficient data handling
- Leverage your expertise in AWS infrastructure components to design and implement scalable, reliable, and performant systems
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture

- Experience with modern frontend development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Strong understanding of search algorithms and information retrieval techniques
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes

- Developed and iterated on several proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions, rapidly incorporating feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve these solutions
- Collaborated effectively with multiple teams, ensuring seamless integration of new features and technologies into existing systems and applications

Komodo Health made cuts to its core team at the end 2022 as part of a restructuring following a large equity funding round.
