We’re looking for a Software Engineer who is excited to join an innovative team shaping the future of logistics

2+ years (or equivalent experience) developing reliable, production-ready software
Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
Interest in learning and supporting others, helping teammates while continuing to grow within your role
Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Cline, Windsurf) and enthusiasm to continue learning
Experience with agile project management tools (JIRA, Asana, Linear, or equivalent)
Proficiency with Git and a strong understanding of version control best practices

What the job involves

As part of our AI Native Engineering organization, you will help develop software that thoughtfully integrates the latest AI tools to create smarter, more scalable systems
You will contribute to the core systems of Rose Rocket’s next-generation logistics platform, whether developing the frameworks that power our system or delivering the customer-facing features that bring it to life
Your work will span from foundational infrastructure to the experiences that help our customers move goods more efficiently
Collaborate on technical direction with teammates in a knowledge-sharing culture
Help bring ideas from concept to delivery and see how your work makes a meaningful impact in the world of logistics
Partner with cross-functional, product-focused teams that value curiosity, creativity, and continuous improvement
Integrate and utilize AI tools across planning, implementation, and verification to accelerate delivery while raising quality standards

Frontend: React, Redux, Websockets
Database: PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch

This allows Rose Rocket to provide an ecosystem of services which competitors struggle to match.

The company has been able to garner venture backing since its early days, and has secured its position as an industry leader. Now established, it has been expanding into larger fleets in the enterprise, as well as investing in product development. It also acquired Centro, that transforms unstructured email into structured data for supply chain software systems, to bolster its offering.
