Role
Who you are
- 3-5 years of product management experience with proven ability to successfully deliver projects on time in fast-paced, outcome-driven Product Teams, particularly in a B2B environment
- Strong project leadership skills - demonstrated experience managing complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and tight deadlines
- Team collaboration and performance management - track record of motivating cross-functional teams, facilitating effective teamwork, and helping team members overcome challenges
- Engineering partnership expertise - ability to work closely with technical teams, understand development constraints, and help engineers prioritize and unblock their work
- Practical prioritisation skills - proven ability to balance strategic opportunities with tactical quick wins, make tough trade-off decisions, and communicate the rationale behind prioritization choices
What the job involves
- As part of our acquisition, Ophelos are on an accelerated journey to roll out our products to 17 European countries - enabling us to support the financial health of millions of people
- At the same time we will look to develop new, innovative ways to deliver value to our customers and clients
- We are expanding our product team's capabilities to drive product growth across new markets and deepen our presence within existing verticals
- This role focuses on evaluating client needs, determining their business value, and building a strategic roadmap that incorporates these requirements to drive market launches and expansion
- You’ll join our product team and collaborate closely with our Head of Growth and Head of Product Operations to define the Growth product roadmap in line with our company’s goals
- In the role, you will be working within cross-functional Product & Tech teams and ensure we deliver the most impactful solutions to our clients’ and customers’ problems
- Drive the Growth product roadmap - You help to create the roadmap and help the function to execute at pace. Managing project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure the team is never blocked and the product outcomes are achieved
- Lead cross-functional project teams - Coordinating between Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to maintain momentum and hit key milestones
- Remove blockers and drive team performance - proactively identifying obstacles that slow down engineering teams and taking ownership of resolution, whether technical, resource, or process-related
- Own delivery timelines and accountability - creating realistic project plans, tracking progress against goals, and ensuring teams stay aligned on priorities and deadlines
- Facilitate effective collaboration - establishing clear communication channels, running productive meetings, and ensuring all team members have the context and resources needed to succeed
- Balance technical feasibility with business goals - working closely with engineering to scope work appropriately and make informed trade-off decisions that keep projects on track
