Who you are
- Proven experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong knowledge of cloud environments AWS or GCP
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools GitHub Actions, Grafana, Prometheus and ArgoCD
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
- Experience managing incidents in production environments
- Strong scripting skills Python
- Good understanding of scalability, high availability, and distributed systems

What the job involves
- You will join the tech team. By integrating this team, you will help building, scaling, and maintaining reliable cloud infrastructure and production environments. You will play a key role in improving system observability, deployment reliability, automation, and platform scalability
- Implement and continuously improve observability across the platform (metrics, logs, traces, monitoring, alerting)
- Manage production incidents, lead troubleshooting efforts, and contribute to postmortems and root cause analysis
- Define and maintain SLOs/SLIs to monitor platform reliability and performance
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and scripting languages
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and enhance deployment reliability and efficiency
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and availability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve operational best practices and platform resilience

Our take
The decline of print media, which is only predicted to continue, has left newspapers and magazines in real trouble. Cafeyn offers these businesses a way out, through its app that enables users to access hundreds of newspapers and magazines from one place.
Users pay a monthly subscription fee, and in return receive access to a huge range of content. At the same time, newspapers and magazines access a much broader market than before, which could rescue them from a slump in revenue.
E-reading platforms have exploded in recent years, and Cafeyn faces some fierce competition. That said, the company's strategy is to strengthen partnerships with publishers while expanding its presence internationally, working hard to replicate the success it has already had in existing markets.
