Who you are
- At Intelligent Change, we are seeking a solution-oriented, and results driven Social Media Intern to join our team and take our social media presence to the next level

- The ideal candidate is a social media expert who is driven, analytical, creative and strategic in their approach
- Must be based in Toronto, Canada or GTA and willing to travel to Toronto for team events, photoshoots etc
- A proven track record of growing a social media presence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well versed on social media platforms and an understanding of their algorithms
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and aesthetics
- Analytical skills to interpret data and draw actionable insights
- Must know how to use smartphone editing software (InShot, Capcut, Splice etc.)
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Knowledge & Skills:
- Proven social media management and analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Can work independently, adapt to a fluid environment, and able to time-manage, prioritize, and toggle between multiple projects
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and efficient
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Experience in the wellness & mindfulness space is a plus
- SEO knowledge a plus
- Figma and Photoshop knowledge a plus
What the job involves
- In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing social media performance, implementing effective marketing strategies, driving growth and revenue across multiple social platforms, as well as implementing internal processes related to content creation, and creative assets
- You will be working directly under our Social Media Manager and focusing on driving growth across all of our platforms including (but not limited to) Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, Pinterest + more
- Identify and curate compelling content that aligns with our brand and resonates with our audience
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually appealing and intellectually stimulating social media assets
- Foster meaningful connections with our community across various social media platforms
- Monitor trends, respond to comments, and facilitate conversations that contribute to a positive and constructive online environment
- Track and analyze social media metrics to assess the performance of our content and campaigns
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing our social media strategy
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging platforms, and innovative social media practices
- Propose and experiment with new ideas to keep our brand at the forefront of digital conversations
