Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a recruiting role, with experience managing global recruitment across various industries
- Proficiency in sourcing tools, platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, social media), and Boolean search techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and close candidates
- Experience in managing international hiring initiatives and a deep understanding of global talent markets
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
What the job involves
- Veho is hiring a Technical Recruiter with a focus on technology hiring to join our growing team
- This is a pivotal role responsible for helping us build and scale high-performing technical teams across engineering, data science, product, and adjacent functions. You will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, from sourcing through offer acceptance, with an emphasis on delivering exceptional candidate experiences and strong hiring outcomes
- This role is primarily focused on technical talent acquisition, but will also support select cross-functional roles as business needs evolve. You’ll be a trusted partner to hiring managers, bringing market insights and recruiting strategy to the table while navigating a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for roles across multiple departments and geographies
- Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, social media platforms, and other online resources, to identify and attract a diverse pool of candidates
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-caliber talent for current and future hiring needs
- Proactively research and stay updated on global talent trends, market conditions, and industry developments to refine recruiting strategies
- Provide strategic consultation throughout a search to ensure we keep strong velocity throughout the recruiting process
- Facilitate debriefs and guide decision-making throughout the hiring process to ensure alignment and speed
- Conduct comprehensive screenings to assess candidate qualifications, interest, and cultural fit
- Build relationships with both active and passive candidates and effectively communicate Veho’s value proposition
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through consistent communication, transparency, and professionalism
- Conduct market research to identify target talent pools and understand competitive hiring landscapes globally
- Maintain accurate candidate records and activities within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Manage recruitment reporting, pipeline health metrics, and hiring outcomes to drive continuous improvement
- Prioritize and organize workload in a strategic and effective manner to meet hiring timelines
Our take
Over 2 million online merchant ship over 165 billion packages to doorsteps across the United States every year. Every one of those deliveries represents a potential difference between happy customers willing to purchase again and refer friends, and a WISMO ("where is my order?!") catastrophe.
Veho is seeking to turn those deliveries from a risk into an opportunity for online brands. The next-day delivery platform leverages a gig economy workforce and its modern communication platform to create a greatly improved last-mile logistics experience for brands and their customers.
Now that the company has been able to build out an impressive technology platform - think optimized routes and driver-customer communication channels - it is now seeking major geographic expansion.
The company is facing competition from both traditional delivery companies like FedEx as well as newer venture-backed attempts to disrupt the space like Deliverr. However, its already impressive economies of scale and customer experience means it is well positioned to dominate the market in the coming years.
