Role
Who you are
- You have 2-4 years of experience in Operations, Consulting, Startups, or other relevant organizations
- You are highly analytical and have a data-driven mindset with excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills, and you have hands-on operational skills
- You are a great collaborator with excellent negotiation and communication skills (both verbal and written) in English and Dutch
- You have a strong motivation to solve problems creatively and efficiently
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment
- You are customer-oriented and will strive to strengthen your driver value proposition to ensure supply growth

What the job involves
- We’re looking for an analytical and solutions-driven Operations Specialist to help us grow our ride-hailing operations in Netherlands
- As an Operations Specialist you will have a direct and tangible impact on local operations that you can see in real-time. This is a hybrid role, with the expectation to attend the office the majority of the time
- If you’re ready to take full ownership of your work, disrupt the marketplace, and shape movement patterns in the urban landscape, here’s your chance!
- Working in tandem with cross-functional and HQ stakeholders, you will spearhead local operations projects, reporting to the Operations Manager. This is crucial support for our overarching mission to enhance the sustainability, accessibility, and affordability of cities
- Lead local growth initiatives, owning the Events & Venues program and driving impact during major events and high-volume venues (think stations, stadiums…)
- Manage and scale the Car Branding program to boost Bolt’s visibility and strengthen driver engagement across key cities
- Optimize operations and processes, identifying smarter, faster ways to improve efficiency and scalability
- Analyze market and performance data, from driver earnings to supply metrics, to uncover insights and shape local strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between (Central) Operations, Product, Customer Support, Legal on priorities and process updates
- Support business growth through partnerships, working with local venues and businesses to enhance demand and strengthen supply
Our take
Across Europe, more and more people are choosing flexible, on-demand transport instead of owning a car. And ride-hailing, shared vehicles and new technology like autonomous driving are all part of this shift. So, cities are pushing for safer and more efficient transport, which is encouraging mobility companies to invest in electric vehicles and even driverless solutions which could eventually reshape urban travel.
Bolt has positioned themselves right in the center of this change, with is leading mobility platform that offers ride-hailing services across more than 50 countries. Through its app, Bolt connects users with transport options designed to be affordable and simple.
Recently, the company partnered with Stellantis to explore Level 4 autonomous, driverless vehicles, showing just how far ahead Bolt is looking for its next phase of mobility.
That said, Bolt operates in a very crowded market and urban mobility is highly competitive, with many local and international players all trying to come out on top. Even so, demand for shared and on-demand transport is at an all time high and only growing. Bolt's broad geographic reach, focus on scale and willingness to invest in future technologies puts it in the perfect position to keep growing.
