  • Fluency in German and English
  • 5+ years of field & partner marketing experience in an enterprise technology company

  • The ability to create a comprehensive, strategic regional marketing plan, communicate the plan to get buy-in and build consensus among cross-functional teams
  • Experience in Salesforce, Hubspot, Asana, Notion and project management tools is a plus
  • Flexibility to travel within the assigned region and occasionally internationally

What the job involves

  • As a Regional Marketing Manager focused on the DACH region, you will be developing and executing comprehensive regional marketing strategies to achieve business growth, drive pipeline working work cross-functionally with global marketing, Sales, and SDR teams
  • We are looking for a strategic lead with demonstrated experience in B2B SAAS delivering and executing commercial impact across field marketing, campaign development, and regional/demand marketing and ABM campaigns.
  • Your responsibilities extend to partnering with the local sales team to identify target markets, support impactful marketing campaigns, and assess campaign effectiveness, ultimately generating marketing influenced pipeline, enhancing brand awareness, and fostering customer engagement
  • Strategise, plan, execute, manage, and optimize end-to-end field & partner marketing programs for your region across the full marketing spectrum such as trade shows, partner conferences, regional dbt field events and roadshows
  • Collaborate with sales, sales development, and global demand and digital marketing teams acting as the key point of contact for marketing activities that support your region and pipeline targets
  • Help be the voice of the region to influence and shape global marketing campaigns, including how the brand becomes relevant for the local Enterprise audience
  • Analyze and report on the performance of regional campaigns and events and global marketing program effectiveness in your region providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership to ensure alignment between marketing and sales initiatives, optimize lead management processes, and drive revenue growth
  • Track and manage the regional field marketing budget

In 2018, dbt Labs founder Tristan Handy was running an analytics company and created a data build tool (or ‘dbt’) to help transform data for analysis. Fast forward one year and dbt Labs was born, offering its tools to help companies everywhere transform their data workflows.

Raw data comes in myriad forms and dbt Labs’ software allows data specialists to manage the data transformation layer making its use for analysis much easier. It offers consulting services on top of the software, and has ridden a wave of companies embracing digital transformation more as their services and workplaces become more online.

Seen as the defacto standard for modern analytics engineering by many, it reached unicorn status within 2 years of launch and is focusing future efforts on expanding reach more markets outside of the US. Its recent acquisition of Transform, an analytics engineering company, will aid in further developing its product's data transformation capabilities.
