Role
Who you are
- Experience provisioning and managing users and resources with cloud providers such as AWS and GCP. Example: you have provisioned users and accounts using both graphical user interfaces and infrastructure as code frameworks
- Experience with cloud cost management. Example: you have used cloud provider tooling to visualize and investigate a monthly bill
- Experience in a gitops environment. Example: you have managed infrastructure via incremental code changes and have created and reviewed Github pull requests
- Experience with cloud and infrastructure tooling and platforms such as Terraform. Example: you have used Terraform to manage cloud resources
- Proficient in data visualization and processing tools such as spreadsheets, Jupyter Notebooks, SQL, BigQuery
- Good oral and written communication skills
What the job involves
- Configure and manage access to public cloud resources
- Support tooling and frameworks that assist with provisioning and managing public cloud resources
- Support users and Fastly business process in the use of public cloud resources
- Perform discovery of cloud resource utilization including spending and configuration
- Partner with teams across Fastly to make optimizations to reduce costs and improve security
