Who you are

You have experience developing a brand and brand voice in an early-stage or growth stage startup environment as a lead or primary contributor
You have been eight and ten years experience as a marketer and have worked at a start-up before
You're excited about an early stage environment which is fast-paced, minimally structured and built around individual responsibility and autonomy
You’re comfortable with both the math and the emotion necessary to build a brand and a user-base in an early stage startup
You have a working understanding and experience of running mid-funnel and bottom of funnel campaigns on Facebook, Google, Instagram and TikTok and are able to do so at a small scale without agency assistance
You’re comfortable with the language and math of growth accounting and attribution
The idea of working on a brand and product that hasn’t launched yet excites you — this is an opportunity to do it right from the start

What the job involves

Help us develop our brand and our brand’s voice
Help us launch our product in a wide range of markets around the world
Prioritize our initial set of target audiences and use-cases for our product
Create marketing messaging and work with a designer to produce ads
Experiment with various audiences, messages and platforms to bring in our first user community and begin to build towards viral growth
Optimize audience, message and channel mix to drive marketing efficiency and ROI over time

Avian Labs is building software to help people move money from person to person and company to company without having to worry about sort codes, IBANs, wallet addresses, national borders, or even different currencies.

It is doing this on top of crypto rails, focusing on making it easy and accessible to everyone. Most businesses are now partly operating crypto payments, providing a perfect landscape for attackers seeking to harvest and exploit valuable data, which is why Avian Labs is focused on being safe, secure, and resistant to fraud and money laundering.

The company is in its very early stages but is already backed by world-class investors and has secured a Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (MiCA) license in 2025. Its founding team is composed of senior people who have helped build and scale global companies like Facebook, Deliveroo, Spotify, and Monzo, putting Avian Labs in an already-strong position when its product is ready to launch.
