What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Demand Planner to join our Planning Team on a 12 month fixed term contract
- Reporting into our Senior Demand Planner, our Demand Planner will have full ownership of trading for our Colour category
- Strategically plan and manage the Colour category's inventory, defining the approach to achieve growth and performance targets
- Take ownership of New Product Development (NPD) forecasting, working closely with key cross-functional partners to accurately determine the required buy quantity
- Manage the trading of continuity products to maintain 100% stock availability for all SKUs
- Determine optimum inventory levels to fulfil customer demand while mitigating excess stock and obsolescence
- Manage weekly sales, stock, and intake data, presenting potential risks and opportunities to the Senior Demand Planner
- Conduct detailed analysis of current and historical performance to maximise commercial opportunities
- Gather and deliver both regular and ad-hoc analysis to the business, sharing insights and collaborating on strategies to address market shifts and enhance overall company performance
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate promotional factors into demand planning
- Develop and produce best-in-class reporting
