Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate is a quota-carrying sales leader, experienced in managing a successful, senior sales team to achieve company growth goals, and accustomed to a ‘high-velocity’ sales model, partnering with Sales Development Reps, Inside Sales Reps and partners to grow the region
- Candidates should have executive-level contacts and be flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing situations
- You must be results-driven, customer-focused, technologically savvy, and innovative at building internal relationships and external partnerships to attack the market with passion!
- Direct quota carrier with at least 5 years history of meeting and over-achieving targets in the Cyber Security market, with a focus on Enterprise accounts
- Previous managerial experience, leading a successful sales team
- Strong focus on driving results (sales targets, forecasting disciplines, pipeline management, etc.)
- Consultative sales approach, present Pentera's technology and product to prospective customers
- Understand complex customer requirements on both business and technical levels & ability to articulate these whilst bringing Pentera solutions to help solve them
- Significant and proven experience developing relationships with senior executives
- Leverage and maintain CRM tools to record all opportunities and deals (i.e. real-time forecast and funnel management)
- Native German speaker, located in the Northern or Eastern region of Germany
- A Bachelor’s (BA/BS) or Master’s Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- Outstanding presentation, written, verbal and closing skills
- Goal oriented, self-motivated, confident, competitive, thorough and tenacious
- Ability to overcome sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
- Ability to be open minded and committed to a growth mindset
What the job involves
- We are looking for highly motivated, self-driven, and experienced Senior Sales Leader to join our Global Revenue group in Germany
- Identify, develop and execute account strategies to close new business opportunities and expand revenue with customers across the assigned region; independently and cooperatively
- Scope, negotiate and bring to closure agreements to exceed booking and revenue quota targets
- Target and gain access to decision-makers in key prospect accounts in the assigned territory
- Provide ongoing training and development of the sales team
- Own sales forecasting, pipeline management and upward reporting to regional AVP Sales
- Hands-on & customer-facing role. Leading demos and complex pilots
- Define new business campaigns horizontally and vertically to generate new opportunities with a demonstrable Return on Investment
- Build upsell/cross-sell strategies and reference programs to develop and grow relationships within our current customer base
