What the job involves

Prestatech is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) on Python stack
Our two main challenges are: experiments on new reliable document retrieval approaches (OCR, neural networks, LLM) and modernization of older systems. We are ready to dedicate time to increasing quality and reducing accidental complexity
We have a small team dedicated to extracting various bank statements, payslips, fiscal documents, and other documents from a few countries. We built it, and we are trying our best to run it too :)
In document processing, we touch on topics of OCR and fraud detection
For Python type hints are being extended across the code. Ruff is utilized as a linter & formatter, along with mypy as an additional type-checker
Python 3.12, asyncio, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes. A bit of older Flask and Azure Python function app systems, but everything at least in Docker
Code is integrated from fast-living branches and automatically deployed to the environment in Azure DevOps
Azure cloud: databases, Kubernetes, storage accounts, and machine learning tools

Tech Lead (Manager) interview: general questions about experience and engineering and online coding (not more than 60 minutes)
Talk with CTO (20 minutes)
Final Talk with Founders (30 minutes)
