Role
Who you are
- Experience - 10+ years of experience in a sales engineering, solutions consulting, or technical pre-sales role, ideally supporting a B2B financial services or wealth management platform
- Deep domain knowledge - a strong grasp of the RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) ecosystem, broker-dealer infrastructure, and portfolio management workflows. Experience navigating custodial platforms and compliance requirements is a strong plus
- Technical fluency - proven ability to understand and explain complex API integrations, data flows, and back end processes to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Enterprise selling acumen - deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles; including discovery, proof-of-concept, security reviews, etc. You act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the process

What the job involves
- Altruist is in the midst of an exceptional growth phase and we’re excited to hire a Senior Sales Engineering leader to join our growing Enterprise Products team
- Collaborate closely with the GM of Enterprise to develop and continuously refine a Go-To-Market strategy for the enterprise segment
- Drive sales execution by partnering with the client development team throughout the sales cycle - from early discovery through close - by answering technical questions, delivering customized demos and presentations, and coordinating meetings with other subject matter experts and stakeholders
- Lead the end-to-end implementation and onboarding process for new enterprise clients; ensuring a smooth handoff from sales, managing technical requirements and gathering, coordinating integrations, etc
- Own on-going relationship of enterprise clients - formal and informal business reviews with tracked KPIs with the goal to achieve customer satisfaction and increase in wallet share
- Develop a deep understanding of the Altruist platform to be able to demo and speak to various capabilities
- Institute consultative solutioning with prospects and clients; requiring understanding of the wealth management tech stack and operational processes
- Systematically capture advisor feedback to help inform company priorities (e.g., product roadmap, marketing campaigns)
- Contribute to the sales team’s goal of creating predictable, scalable growth by proactively identifying ways to make the team better, meeting sales SLAs, and consistently maintaining accurate and complete records in Salesforce
- Demonstrate coachability and growth mindset; absorb and apply feedback from sales leadership to increase effectiveness and efficiency

Altruist brings an all-in-one platform to all IFAs, removing the need to use multiple programs to manage client accounts whilst bringing high quality assets to all investors, regardless of portfolio size.
Advisors can save time, compress costs and ultimately do more for their clients. Altruist operates a pricing model that scales up with the number of required accounts, unlike some competitor products such as Adviser and Intelliflo which charge a flat monthly subscription fee. Off the back of impressive funding, the company is set to expand its service offerings and support a wider range of RIAs as it becomes a truly comprehensive advising solution.
