Who you are
- The Fintech product company seeks a dynamic individual with a passion for fast-paced work and excellent communication skills to join its marketing team
- Minimum of 2 years in a role involving lead generation and cold calling in a B2B context
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Good understanding of technical products and solutions
- Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely
- Flexible approach to accommodate varying lead qualification scenarios
- Strong collaborative skills to work seamlessly with sales, marketing, and technical teams
What the job involves
- The Lead Generation and Qualification Specialist will be crucial in generating and filtering incoming leads, ensuring optimal qualification, and scoring before transferring leads to the sales team
- Lead generation:
- Contribute to the lead generation efforts by identifying potential clients through various channels
- Gather potential leads contact information and reach out to them using email, LinkedIn and other channels
- Proactively engage in cold calling to generate new leads and expand the prospect pool
- Tailor messaging to communicate the company's value and offerings effectively
- Adapt to different communication styles and objections during cold calls
- Lead qualification:
- Conduct qualification calls with leads entering the funnel
- Gather comprehensive information about the lead’s funding status, team structure, and specific needs
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of company products and services
- Determine the level of interest and potential fit for company solutions
- Use established criteria to qualify leads and prioritize them based on their potential as clients
- Document and maintain accurate records of lead interactions and qualification details
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads
- Appointment scheduling:
- Schedule follow-up calls with qualified leads to connect them with the sales and technical team
- Coordinate with the technical team to ensure timely and relevant follow-up discussions

The pace of change in the way people make payments is accelerating. Customers expect to be able to pay for services online, from any country, with any currency. This can be difficult for a business of any scale to manage without significant investment in an in-house payments system, as this requires expertise and talent which may be beyond the reach of many startups or small-medium enterprises. SDK Finance offers a solution with its modular cloud-based or on-prem backend payments processing system, saving up to a year of active development time.
While there is no shortage of huge businesses in the payments processing market, SDK hopes to stand out with the adaptability of its software. Billing itself as the "WordPress for FinTech", the software contains a variety of core finance functions which can be customised and built on by any company's in-house development team. The value proposition is a bit of a tougher sell for enterprise clients, who prefer to develop in-house solutions, but SDK Finance is banking on the experience of its founders and the skill of its development team to break into this space.
