Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sales processes, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies

What the job involves
- We're looking for a dynamic and strategic-minded Head of Sales Strategy & Operations to join our team
- In this role, you will play a key role in driving our sales strategy and overseeing the operational aspects of our sales function
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives
- Define sales processes, standardize sales methodologies, and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop sales performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to track progress and provide insights to our C-Level management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with product development, marketing, and customer success initiatives
- Lead and manage sales operations, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales analytics
- Drive sales enablement initiatives to equip the sales team with the necessary tools, resources, and training to enhance their effectiveness and productivity
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for optimization and implementing process enhancements
- Lead the sales strategy & operations team, consisting of 2-3 talented individuals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their professional growth and success
- Oversee the sales function across multiple countries (NL, DE, UK) together with the local leadership, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and adapting strategies to local market dynamics
- Serve as the right hand of the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), collaborating closely to develop and execute the overall sales strategy, operational plans, and initiatives
Our take
Buy-now-pay-later is a flexible payment option that is well known for increasing conversion rates and shopping cart sizes, but existing eCommerce solutions are usually focused around B2C. Whilst there are B2B solutions available, these come paired with operational burden, difficult code integration, and the stresses of payment default and debt collection.
Mondu provides a buy-now-pay-later financial service for eCommerce B2Bs, taking care of the risk, administrative duties, and integration frameworks associated with existing services to allow clients to focus on business instead of administrative duties. Whilst the solutions are provided in the form of APIs for bespoke integration, they are also available as ready-to-use eCommerce platform extensions.
Mondu’s approach of handling all of the formalities is unique. The company claims that its solution increases conversion rates by 40% and shopping cart sizes by 60%, increasing revenues and customer bases without the need for hiring financial experts and programmers. The company has seen substantial funding that has supported its expansion across Europe, and continues to release new solutions and updates to improve its overall offering.
