Role
Who you are
- 5–7+ years in a combined Marketing Automation and Marketing Ops/Data role
- Expert-level Marketo experience, including automation design, lead scoring, and lifecycle workflows
- Proficiency in Tableau/Power BI for building marketing dashboards
- Strong SQL skills and experience in building data models and attribution frameworks
- Experience aligning technical solutions with GTM strategies and working cross-functionally with RevOps, Sales, and PMM

What the job involves
- SpecterOps is seeking a Marketing Operations & Automation Manager to unify our marketing automation and data reporting functions
- This role blends deep Marketo automation expertise with strong analytics and lead scoring capabilities
- You will be responsible for implementing and optimizing Marketo, building sophisticated lead scoring models, and developing comprehensive reporting and forecasting dashboards
- You will ensure that our marketing engine is both automated and data-driven, bridging the gap between RevOps, SalesOps, and Growth Marketing
- Own and manage Marketo end-to-end, including program design, lifecycle automation, lead routing, and nurture flows
- Implement and maintain robust lead scoring models that align with product engagement and buyer intent
- Design and execute automated campaigns for top-of-funnel nurture, demo-to-POC acceleration, and ABM programs
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards in Tableau or Power BI, providing clear pipeline visibility, funnel conversion metrics, and forecasting insights
- Develop and implement forecasting models and attribution frameworks to measure marketing impact
- Own data quality and integration integrity across Marketo, Salesforce, CDPs, enrichment providers, and website tracking
- Serve as Marketing’s technical stakeholder with RevOps/SalesOps to align on routing, scoring, funnel definitions, and pipeline modeling
- Support field marketing, ABM, and campaign teams with technical execution, lead management, and data reporting
- Act as the technical stakeholder for both automation reliability and analytics accuracy

The old saying “the best defense is a good offense” is relevant here, and SpecterOps, with a co-founder with a background doing similar for the US Marines, has plenty of experience deflecting cyber threats. The company’s Bloodhound software maps and removes potential attack paths and choke points and consults on how companies can improve security. Bloodhound was initially leveraged by penetration testers but has found wider adoption over the last two years, with its customer base growing by 600% in that time. Clients include Capital Group, Woodside Energy, and the University of Texas.
This proactive approach to defense has drawn in considerable investment, SpecterOps having raised two rounds of Series A in 2023 and further VC in 2024. This funding will go towards accelerating what is already a highly popular cyber defense product, whilst 2026 saw it expand its Bloodhound coverage to GitHub and Mac environments.
