Role
Who you are
- At least one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Building and provisioning scalable cloud based infrastructure to deploy applications written in Python, NodeJS or other scripting languages
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar
- CI/CD, for example ArgoCD, Gitlab Pipelines, CircleCI
- Containerisation and deployment with Docker and Kubernetes
- Networking fundamentals, IP networking, TCP, HTTP
What the job involves
- Working with cross- functional teams to help our customers by building robust, secure and scalable Cloud Infrastructure to support their data and machine learning workflows.
- Contribute to internal Cloud Engineering best practices, standards and code repos; enabling Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists to take ownership of their cloud deployments
- Actively look out for the best open source technologies to be used in the development of Faculty's infrastructure
- Create and maintain reusable libraries that are used company-wide
- Be involved with the project life cycle from idea generation to shipping
