Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 3+ years in a SaaS company
Experience in start-up environments and managing finances and cash in high-growth companies
Strong understanding of SaaS revenue recognition principles and metrics
Excellent knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements
Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of integrity and professionalism

What the job involves

Manage daily accounting operations: accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, financial reporting
Develop and maintain internal control policies to ensure financial data integrity
Prepare and present financial statements: income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements
Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements, including tax filings and audits
Implement and maintain financial systems to improve efficiency and streamline processes
