Role
Who you are
- At least 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web applications using the latest web technologies
- Strong proficiency in one or more modern web development frameworks
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development, and experience integrating with third-party APIs
- Knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms, and experience applying them to solve complex problems
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and with agile software development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with building video editing products on the web is a huge plus
- Passion for learning and working in a fast-paced environment at an early-stage company
What the job involves
- Develop and maintain web applications using the latest web technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other engineers to develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applications
- Continuously optimize and improve web application performance to ensure fast page load times and smooth user experiences
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and best practices, and apply them to improve the development process and drive innovation
- Ensure high availability and scalability of your product areas
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences
- Manage the overall product process with the broader team, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and maintenance, and contribute to the development of project plans and schedules.
