Ozone is on a mission to make the world a more creative place by building the next generation of creative tools. The company’s first product is a Figma-like, collaborative video editing tool in the cloud. It allows content creators to edit in an easier, faster, and more collaborative way than previously possible.
Whilst there are other more popular players in the field, including iMovie and Adobe Premiere Pro, Ozone argues that it is an improvement in terms of intuitiveness, collaboration and speed and, notably, that it is totally lag-free. As an entirely browser-based service, it features a reimagined user interface, multiplayer collaboration and unlimited rendering power and storage that other options do not.
Whilst green, the company is ambitious. It hopes to ultimately shape the future of personal computing, standing in the ranks of applications from Apple, Google and Adobe. Its unique features and first-of-its-kind application are in a promising position to gain traction following a place on Y Combinator’s 2022 program, a funding and strategic investment body that gave companies like Monzo and Airbnb their start.
