Senior Security Engineer, Lime

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in a dedicated security engineering role, with a strong focus on corporate or enterprise security
• Technical Depth: Demonstrated expertise across a broad range of security domains, including:
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and technologies (e.g., Okta, Azure AD)
• Network security concepts (firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation)
• Cloud security best practices (SaaS, AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Vulnerability management and penetration testing methodologies
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems
• Problem-Solver: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex security issues and propose effective solutions
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Lime is seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our Security Engineering team
• In this role, you'll be a foundational member of our security engineering efforts, directly contributing to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Lime's critical systems and data
• You will report to the Director of Security Engineering and play a key role in building out our corporate security program

• Design and Implement Security Controls: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of security solutions across our corporate infrastructure, focusing on endpoint security, detection engineering, network security, and cloud security (SaaS/IaaS)
• Risk Management & Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct in-depth security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and proactively recommend and implement mitigation strategies based on a risk-based approach
• Incident Response & Forensics: Contribute to our incident response capabilities, including developing playbooks, investigating security incidents, and performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
• Security Architecture & Standards: Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into system designs and configurations from the outset, aligning with industry standards and our security strategy
• Policy & Procedure Development: Help develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines that are practical and effective for our environment
• Security Monitoring & Analytics: Enhance our detective capabilities by improving security monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to identify suspicious activities and potential threats
• Automation & Tooling: Drive automation of security tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness of security operations
