Who you are
- 10+ years experience in the software/SaaS industry with pre-sales management experience and passion for building and supporting diverse teams
- Have a passion for working with customers to ensure mutual success. Possess the business experience and technical depth that allows you connect with our customers across industries at an Executive level
- Form deep partnerships with the other functional business leaders across the organization to ensure synergistic collaboration of our teams
- Partner with global SE leaders to standardize processes and solutions and promote organizational change
- Curiosity - you are always asking "what else can our product do and how can we demonstrate value to our customers?"
- Flair for improving and scaling technical selling processes – e.g. developing stories for individual clients
- You'll build a team both in hiring new members and developing the career growth of the existing team
- You can manage your function of the organization including goals, budget, strategy and you can create a positive team culture
- Build a network that is mutually supportive, including Product Management, Development, and Product Marketing teammates
What the job involves
- As the Vice President, Sales Engineering Americas at WalkMe, you will report to our SVP of Global Sales Engineering and lead our Americas Sales Engineering (SE) teams as the technical and solution partner to Sales
- You will continue to grow our teams, set the technical sales strategy for our Sales Engineers and ensure WalkMe can share the value of DAP
- Bring multiple regional teams into one focused, Americas team with your thought leadership and vision for goals, processes, and standards
- Lead our Americas technical Go To Market (GTM) strategy across Named, Enterprise, Commercial and Federal sales teams in partnership with our Sales Leaders
- Grow the SE organization externally through recruiting and internally through mentorship to ensure our SE's continue building knowledge and growing in their careers
- Partner with Sales leaders and teams to support the sales of WalkMe through understanding of customer requirements, and demonstrating the value of how our software solves digital adoption over multiple use cases
- Scale the team through use of value-based demos to tell the story of WalkMe from a clients' perspective
- Create feedback loops between our customers and product team to inspire product direction and feature priorities
Our take
WalkMe is a code-free digital adoption platform allowing CIOs and executive management visibility into their company’s tech stack. The aim of its software is to help organizations both measure and maximize the impact of their digital transformation.
With more companies than ever undergoing this process, a product that provides some transparency regarding the efficacy of their digital transformation efforts is a smart market proposition. The market opportunity is significant, and global too, and with more of its 2,000+ corporate customers signing up for large contracts WalkMe is cashing in on its strong position.
Following a successful IPO in mid-2021, WalkMe has continued on a strong and steady track, with 35 million users in 42+ countries. An acquisition by German software giant SAP for an estimated $1.5 billion occurred in 2024 and will see WalkMe's workflow execution software improve the buyer's user adoption and engagement.
